1. Western Union. Both the post office and Agricultural Bank of China accept Western Union money transfer. After your friend remits the money, he will give you a withdrawal code. You can take your ID card and withdrawal code to the post office or the Agricultural Bank of China to withdraw the money. However, they can only give you RMB or US dollars based on the exchange rate, not Euros or Pounds.
2. Bank of China. CCB. China Merchants Bank. Industry and commerce. Accounts from Industrial Bank, etc. are acceptable, but you need to give your bank branch’s Swift code and English address of the bank, as well as your account number and account name to your friend. (For example, Bank of China Head Office, address: 1 Fuxingmen Nei Dajie, Beijing 100818, China, 1 Fuxingmen Nei Dajie, Beijing 100818, China, swift code BKCH CN BJ), which one to choose? Banks can consult relevant banks. Different banks have different lines and methods.
3. If you don’t have a bank account, you can choose China Merchants Bank, Industrial Bank, ICBC, etc. When remitting money, you only need to indicate the name and number of your ID card, contact number and address. After receiving it, China Merchants Bank will open an account for you and contact you to pick it up.
Note:
1. When you receive an inward remittance and need to make a balance of payments declaration, our bank will send a text message notification, and you can go to the branch with a valid ID to do so. To declare, you can also log in to online banking (public version, professional version) to make a declaration. Online declaration is easy to operate.
2. Many banks do not necessarily have direct business dealings with the remittance bank, so they need to be transferred by an intermediary bank. The transfer fee is deducted from the remittance amount. For example, if 1,000 euros are remitted to you, only 980 euros may actually arrive. This is related to the business connections between domestic banks and remittance banks.
