The personal foreign exchange quota stipulated by the foreign exchange bureau is 50 thousand dollars. Individuals need to carry their ID cards to exchange foreign currencies, and each ID card can be exchanged for up to 50,000 US dollars or other foreign currencies equivalent to 50,000 US dollars.
Special application is required when foreign currency exchange exceeds 50,000 USD. You need to make an appointment in advance to exchange illiquid currencies and large foreign currencies.
2. Other banks
China Merchants Bank, Bank of Communications and other banks can also handle it. If the credit cards of China Merchants Bank and Bank of Communications have a limit of RMB 30,000, there will be equivalent US dollars to be withdrawn, that is, US$ 30,000 /6. 12 = 4902. Other banks can only exchange US dollars, Japanese yen, British pounds, Hong Kong dollars, euros, Australian dollars, Swiss francs and other foreign currencies.
