Electronic Commerce Law of the People's Republic of China Article 1 This Law is formulated for the purpose of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of parties involved in electronic commerce, regulating electronic commerce behavior, maintaining market order and promoting the sustained and healthy development of electronic commerce. Article 2 This Law is applicable to electronic commerce activities in People's Republic of China (PRC).
