I used to work in this bank in America and was also a customer of it. This happened to me, too, because I sent money to my family, but I lost it. Therefore, I can have two choices:

1, I have my name on the draft. Two weeks have passed since the date of issuance, and I still haven't claimed and handled it in time. Even if I report the loss automatically, the bill is invalid. The money is still in my account. It hasn't been touched.

I can inform the bank here to refuse to pay in advance. No matter when and where it is advocated in China, it is null and void. Money can't run away at all.

If the remittance has been claimed in China, once the money is out of my account, I can't control it in the United States. We can only trace whose pocket it is, and then deal with it separately.
