According to the Interim Measures for the Administration of Carrying Foreign Currency Cash into and out of China, if the entry personnel bring foreign currency cash into China and the amount exceeds the equivalent of * * 5,000 USD * *, they shall make a written declaration to the customs. For people who travel many times on the same day and in a short period of time, there are the following provisions:

1. If you leave the country for the second time (inclusive) in the same day, you can bring foreign currency cash not exceeding **500 USD (inclusive). There is no need to apply for a carrying certificate, and the customs will release it. If the quantity you take out exceeds the equivalent of $500, the customs will not release it.

If you leave the country for the second time (inclusive) within 2.5 days, you can leave the country with foreign currency cash not exceeding ** 1000 (including 1000). There is no need to apply for a carrying certificate, and the customs will release it. If the amount you bring out exceeds the equivalent of 1000 USD, the customs will not release it.

Passengers carrying RMB into and out of the country, the limit of RMB per person is * * 20,000 yuan * *. If it exceeds the limit, it needs to be declared to the customs.
