1. The remitter should bring his/her ID card, card/passbook and wait until the bank counter fills out the "Application for Overseas Remittance" before going to the counter to go through the relevant formalities.
2. Cross-border remittance business can be entrusted to others, but the identity documents, cards/passbooks and original power of attorney of both the remitter and the agent should be provided, and the power of attorney should be kept by BOC with the summons.
3. Cross-border remittance of minors must be handled by guardians.
