In fact, not every student who goes abroad for further study can enjoy the benefits of buying duty-free cars. This policy has certain restrictions on the length of study abroad and the time to return to China. The specific requirements are as follows:
1. Studying abroad for more than one school year (at least 9 months);
2. Stay abroad for no more than two years after graduation;
3. Having been employed for the first time after graduation or further study for less than one year;
4. During the study period (from enrollment to graduation), staying overseas for 180 days can be regarded as a tax-free indicator, and returning to China for less than 30 days can be regarded as continuous. You can buy a duty-free car if you reach the tax-free goal. If you bring duty-free items that need to be declared when you return to China, each item will also occupy a duty-free object. When applying for a car, you need to show the passenger baggage declaration form.
Students studying and studying in Hong Kong and Macao can also enjoy the same treatment.
Duty-free car concessions include two aspects:
First, exempt domestic cars from tariffs on major imported parts;
Two, exempt from the vehicle purchase tax of the taxable value of the vehicle 10%.
