Scientific research: The College of Resources and Environmental Engineering of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology has formed its own teaching characteristics and scientific research advantages in four disciplines: mining engineering, mineral processing engineering, safety technology and engineering, and environmental engineering, and is infiltrating and extending to similar disciplines, with strong scientific research and popularization and application capabilities. College has presided over the completion of the "Eighth Five-Year Plan", "Ninth Five-Year Plan" and "Tenth Five-Year Plan" national key scientific and technological projects. Since 2000, he has presided over 4 national natural science foundation projects and more than 20 provincial scientific research projects. The hospital undertakes nearly100000 yuan of scientific research projects every year. The construction and development of various disciplines have great influence in Jiangxi, neighboring provinces and cities and even the whole country.

After 48 years of construction and development, the scientific research carried out by teachers in our college mainly involves the new technology and theoretical research of high-efficiency mining technology, rock and soil stability and ground pressure control, engineering controlled blasting technology, mineral processing theory and technology, membrane separation technology, new high-efficiency mineral processing equipment and application, optimized design and transformation of mine ventilation system, ventilation and dust prevention and safety technical engineering, electrostatic dust removal theory and application technology, new technology and process of wastewater treatment, industrial flue gas purification and environmental electrician technology research and application, and sustainable development and application of mine environment. Over the years, in addition to Jiangxi, Fujian, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei, Henan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Gansu and other provinces, the channels of scientific research projects have been extended to Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Yunnan and other provinces, with horizontal projects involving more than 30 domestic large and medium-sized mining enterprise groups such as Jiangxi Copper, Jiangxi Tungsten, China Aluminum, Anhui Tongling Nonferrous Metals, Jinchuan Company and Zijin Group, and won the first place in Indonesia.
