Can't foreign remittances be taken out of China Bank?
1. If the remittance has your name and account number, BOC will automatically transfer the money to your account.

If the remittance only contains your name, address and telephone number, the bank will call or send a letter asking you to rent the original ID card and copy it to the bank for collection. Before you come, the bank will hang the money in a special temporary account. After three months, if no one picks it up, it will send an inquiry message abroad, and then go back the same way.

Because there is no interest if you don't take it, and it is very troublesome for bank staff to send and receive newspapers abroad, I suggest you take it when you are free, or you can transfer money.
