Paying taxes, also known as paying taxes, is the behavior and process of natural persons or legal persons paying taxes to the state tax authorities. For example, paying customs duties means that importers and exporters or their agents pay taxes to the banks designated by the customs within the specified date with the tax payment certificate issued by the customs.
The main source of a country's economic base is tax. In some ways, it does have certain benefits for our citizens. In real life, we can see that it is far from enough for the country to rebuild the disaster area only by people's donations and foreign aid. There is also the National Three Gorges Water Conservancy Project, which supplies power to half of China. Railways cannot be run by individuals.
Taxation is one of the main ways of national fiscal revenue, but it is also taken from the people and used by the people.
The tax wage standard is as follows:
1. After deducting "five insurances and one gold" from employees' monthly salary income, if it exceeds 5,000 yuan, personal income tax shall be calculated and paid;
2. Calculation of personal income tax on wages and salaries.
Twenty-sixth "People's Republic of China (PRC) tax collection and management law". If the tax authorities have reason to believe that taxpayers engaged in production and business operations have evaded their tax obligations, they may order them to pay the tax payable within a prescribed time limit. If a taxpayer is found to have obvious signs of transferring or concealing his taxable commodities, goods and other property or taxable income within a time limit, the tax authorities may order the taxpayer to provide a tax payment guarantee.
If a taxpayer cannot provide a tax payment guarantee, the tax authorities may take the following tax preservation measures with the approval of the director of the tax bureau (sub-bureau) at or above the county level:
(1) Notify the taxpayer's bank or other financial institution in writing to suspend the payment of the taxpayer's deposit equivalent to the taxable amount;
(2) Seizing or sealing up the taxpayer's commodities, goods or other property whose value is equivalent to the tax payable.
If the taxpayer pays the tax within the time limit specified in the preceding paragraph, the tax authorities must immediately lift the collection and preservation measures; If it has not been paid within the time limit, the tax authorities may, with the approval of the director of the tax bureau (sub-bureau) at or above the county level, notify the taxpayer's bank or other financial institution in writing to withhold the tax from its suspended deposit, or auction the goods, articles or other property sealed up or detained to offset the tax with the proceeds from the auction.
If the tax preservation measures are taken improperly, or the taxpayer has paid the tax and the tax authorities have not immediately lifted the tax preservation measures, thus causing losses to the legitimate interests of the taxpayer, the tax authorities shall be liable for compensation.
