The stamp pattern uses the front gate of Beijing as the background. The semicircular three-dimensional gear on the left is clearly printed with the red official script name "Commemoration of the Founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949", and on the right is a side fluttering in the wind. The five-star red flag and a radiant yellow five-pointed star are painted with the image of Chairman Mao waving his left arm.
