(1). If the equivalent value is less than $5,000 (including $5,000), there is no need to declare to the customs.
(2) If the equivalent amount is more than $5,000 to 10000 (including 10000), the applicant shall apply to the bank for proof of carrying.
(3) Foreign currency cash exceeding the equivalent of $65,438+0,000 yuan shall not be taken out of the country in principle. If it is really necessary for special reasons, you should apply to the local foreign exchange bureau for proof of carrying.
The Measures also stipulate that if there is no declaration record, the foreign currency cash carried "multiple times in the same day" and "multiple times in a short period" when leaving the country for the second time (inclusive) shall not exceed the equivalent of US$ 500 and US$ 1 000 respectively.
