20 1 1 On September 5th, the European Union made a final anti-dumping ruling on ceramic tiles originating in China, and imposed a punitive tariff of up to 69.7% on building ceramics exported from China to the European Union until 20 16.
1. EU: The EU made a preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of China ceramic tiles. None of China 1500 ceramic enterprises has obtained market economy status, and the highest temporary punitive tariff of 73% will be imposed. The final ruling will be announced in half a year. The anti-dumping case involved more than 300 million US dollars, and the enterprises involved almost covered well-known domestic ceramic enterprises, 70% of which came from Foshan ceramic enterprises. 2. Turkey: Turkey implements the import quota policy for China ceramics. Turkey gives China about 20,000 tons of ceramics every year, including daily-use ceramics, ceramic tiles, bathroom products and other industries.
Third, India: India's final ruling. Five producers/exporters in China (***5 manufacturers in China and 4 exporters in China) have successfully obtained market economy status, and were determined not to constitute dumping. The anti-dumping duty of Rs. 55 per square meter/kloc-0 (about US$ 3.68) is levied on ceramic tile products of other enterprises in China, which is equivalent to 1.5 ~ 2 times of the cost.
Four. Egypt: In the preliminary ruling of Egypt's anti-dumping case against China's daily-use ceramics, the Egyptian plaintiff won the case because no China enterprise responded. China's daily-use ceramics exported to Egypt will be subject to high anti-dumping duties, which may be as high as 200%.
5. Turkey's quota restrictions on daily-use ceramics and craft ceramics, and Argentina and Egypt's anti-dumping on daily-use ceramics
Exports to these countries will face trade barriers, and anti-dumping duties and quota restrictions will be circumvented through third-party re-exports.
