(2) The people's government didn't take the method of confiscating more than 1000 enterprises of imperialist countries in China, but only supervised by the government. Most of these enterprises are difficult to continue to operate after losing their privileges, some apply for closure, some foreign capitalists voluntarily give up their operations, some are automatically transferred to our government, and some are acquired by our government. (3) After the Korean War broke out, the United States announced that it controlled China's public and private property in the United States and prohibited all ships registered in the United States from sailing to China ports; The British government also robbed China's overseas ships, planes and other property many times. Therefore, in1950+February, the State Council issued the "Order on Controlling American Property and Freezing American Deposits", and then expropriated part of the property and all the oil of American oil companies in Shanghai, the property of British Asian Oil Company, British Win-Win Shipyard and Mahler Machine Factory in Shanghai, and took over the French-French Trams and Electric Lights Company in Shanghai to manage all their property. After this series of measures, the imperialist forces of economic aggression in China gradually died out.
