How is Hebei’s economy?

Economic status Hebei is an important grain and cotton producing area in my country. There are currently 6.199 million hectares of cultivated land. In most areas, crops can be harvested twice a year, but farming systems vary greatly from place to place. The province's grain sown area accounts for more than 80% of the total cultivated land area. The main grain crops include: wheat, corn, sorghum, millet, potatoes, etc. Cotton is the most important economic crop, and this province is an important cotton production base in my country. Xingtai and Handan are known as "Southern Hebei Cotton Sea". In addition, oilseeds, hemp, sugar beets, and tobacco are also important, and together with cotton are the five major cash crops in the province. Animal husbandry is the most important agricultural sector in the province after farming. Hebei is also one of the important fishing areas in my country, focusing on coastal fisheries, with Qinhuangdao being the main center. This province is rich in chestnuts, apricots, persimmons, pears and other fruits. The main coal mines include Kailuan, Jingxing, Fengfeng and many other places, and some of their products are exported abroad. The power industry is dominated by thermal power. Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Handan, Xingtai, Hengshui, and Cangzhou form the Hebei South Power Grid. They also participate in the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Power Grid (i.e., the Hebei North Grid, including Zhangjiakou, Chengde, Tangshan, Langfang, and Qinhuangdao in the province). and Beijing and Tianjin). Traditional handicrafts include Quyang stone carvings, saddles, Yishui inkstones, etc. [1]
