Xiong'an new area is located in the hinterland of Beijing-Tianjin-Baoding, with obvious geographical advantages, convenient and smooth transportation, excellent ecological environment, strong carrying capacity of resources and environment, low degree of existing development, abundant development space and basic conditions for high starting point and high standard development and construction.
Xiong'an new area planning and construction takes a specific area as the starting area for the first development, with the starting area of about 100 square kilometers, the medium-term development area of about 200 square kilometers and the long-term control area of about 2000 square kilometers.

Xiong'an new area is located in the mid-latitude zone, with a warm temperate monsoon continental climate with four distinct seasons. Tourism resources in xiong'an new area
1, Baiyangdian
Baiyangdian, located in Anxin County, xiong'an new area, is a national key tourist area and an open area. With a water area of 366 square kilometers, it is the largest freshwater lake in North China Plain. Terrain is formed by the repeated evolution from sea to lake and from lake to land.
The lake area is divided into 143 lakes of different sizes and shapes by 39 villages, 3,700 ditches and120,000 mu of reeds. It is famous for rice, fish and shrimp, lotus root and "Anzhou reed mat". China Baiyangdian Lotus Festival is held on July 23rd every year.
2. Liangmatai Site
Liangmatai Site is located in Liangmatai Town in the east of Rongcheng County, on the northern border of xiong'an new area, adjacent to Baigou, a famous small commodity city in China. The traffic on the country road is not wide, which seems a bit congested. The commodity economy here is prosperous and active, and plush toy manufacturers gather. There is also a large plush toy wholesale market in the town, and its products are exported to Eastern Europe.
3. Ancient wars in Song and Liao Dynasties
Guzhan Road in Song and Liao Dynasties is located in Xiongxian County, which spans Xiongxian, Bazhou, Wen 'an, Yongqing and other counties and cities from southwest to northeast. It is 65 kilometers long from east to west and 25 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 1600 square kilometers. The underground passage used for military defense has never been solved.
