The processing flow of precious metals in ICBC accounts is as follows:

Counter account opening: Bring my valid certificates, such as ICBC current passbook, ICBC Express card and wealth management account card, to ICBC outlets, fill in the Application Form for Precious Metal Consumption Account of Personal Account, and then open it after signing and confirming.

Opening an account through electronic banking channel: You can open a precious metal account for your personal account through online banking or mobile banking provided by ICBC.

Treatment conditions for precious metals in accounts:

Customers must hold current passbook of China Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, smart card of China Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, wealth management account card or wealth card of China Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Customers who use online banking, mobile banking and ICBC e-investment channels must open ICBC e-banking business.

Guidelines for handling precious metals in accounts:

Counter transaction: Go to the designated outlets of ICBC with my valid ID card, ICBC current passbook, ICBC Smart Card or wealth management account card.

Online banking transaction: log in to personal online banking, select "Precious Metals in Account" in the "All" column, and follow the prompts in the operation interface.

Mobile banking transaction: Please follow the instructions on the mobile banking operation page for the mobile banking transaction process.

Precautions:

In the same area, only one account can be opened for precious metals trading.

You can query the detailed information of historical transactions and pending transactions within the longest half year through online banking channel.

Precious metal in the account (ounces) can only be traded in US dollars and cannot be exchanged for other foreign currencies. Therefore, if you don't have US dollars in your account, please convert other foreign currencies into US dollars before trading precious metals (ounces) in your account.
