The fact that RMB does not depreciate is also related to the China administration's hope that RMB will enter SDR. Recently, in particular, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is conducting a procedural technical calculation on the inclusion of the SDR currency basket. If the RMB depreciates, it is not conducive to the inclusion of the RMB in SDR.
Because, when the IMF examines whether RMB can be included in SDR in 20 10, according to the IMF's calculation indicators, whether a country's currency is used for extensive international payments and extensive transactions in major foreign exchange markets can mainly refer to four quantitative indicators. That is, the proportion of official foreign exchange reserves of countries around the world, the proportion of global international trade settlement, the proportion of global international bond markets and the proportion of global foreign exchange trading market.
