1. Unable to check the remittance path, exact amount and date. We suggest that you inquire through the remitter and ask the remitter to inquire by cable on the grounds that the payee has not received the money. The remitter will inquire from its original remittance path and will provide accurate remittance number, remittance amount and date. Bank of China will conduct effective inquiry according to the relevant information provided by it.
2. If you have the remitter's remittance voucher (including remittance path, amount and date, payee information) and your valid ID, you can also go to the remittance counter of the payee's bank to make an inquiry. This method is applicable to the case that the money has reached the Bank of China, and no inquiry fee is charged in this case.
To sum up, since it is impossible to confirm whether the payment has been made to BOC, it is recommended that you make an inquiry through the first method.
