Exit security is the same as flight security. You can't turn over your backpack, just go through the security machine. One of the things inspected by the customs is dangerous goods, as well as animal and plant quarantine, foreign exchange cash, cultural relics and so on. Security at the destination is looser. Tourists have nothing to worry about unless you are suspected of smuggling.
