How many subjects do futures exams need?
There are two compulsory subjects in futures examination, namely, basic knowledge of futures and futures laws and regulations. The examination adopts closed-book and computer-based examination, sponsored by China Futures Association and specifically undertaken by ATA Company. The questions are all objective multiple-choice questions, which consist of single-choice questions, multiple-choice questions, true-false questions and comprehensive questions. After passing the two compulsory subjects, you can take the futures investment analysis exam and apply for the futures investment analysis subject.

The examination content of "Basic Knowledge of Futures" includes an overview of futures and derivatives, the organizational structure of futures market, futures contracts and futures trading systems, hedging, speculation and arbitrage, interest rate futures, foreign exchange futures, stock index futures, options, forward contracts, swaps, futures and derivatives price analysis, futures market supervision and risk control.

The examination contents of "Futures Laws and Regulations" include an overview of futures market laws and regulations, requirements for futures practitioners to abide by the law, compliance management of futures operating institutions, self-discipline management of futures industry, administrative supervision of futures market, and judicial decisions in the futures field.
