There are corresponding provisions in the Measures for the Administration of Bank Cards: Article 33 Foreign currency cards shall not be used for foreign currency pricing and settlement in China in principle except within the scope or region stipulated by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. The cardholder can apply for account cancellation after paying all the transaction funds, overdraft principal and interest and related expenses. Debit cards that have not been traded for three consecutive years (including three years) will be automatically cancelled by the banking system.

As long as the cardholder holds the bank card and ID card to the same bank of the issuing bank to apply for account cancellation. The process is as follows:

1. Get the reservation number from the bank and line up.

2. Fill in the bank card cancellation information form, submit it to the counter staff, enter the password, and get the balance.

3. Sign the card and cancel the confirmation, and the bank card account will be closed.
