Compared with China, the time difference in Ukraine is -5 hours in daylight saving time (from the last Sunday in March) and -6 hours in winter time (from the last Sunday in 65438+ 10). The working hours of government agencies are 9:00- 18:00, Saturday and Sunday are rest days, and the lunch break is generally one hour. Most restaurants are open from 12: 00 to 24: 00, banks and most private institutions are open from 9: 00 to 18: 00, and some supermarkets are open 24 hours.

Money, cash, credit cards

Currency: Ukrainian currency unit is Grivner (UHR), with denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200. One Grivner equals one hundred kopecks, and kopecks have denominations of one, two, five, ten, twenty-five and fifty.

Cash: US dollars and euros are recommended. There are many foreign exchange points in major cities in Ukraine, which can be exchanged at will with passports. Just in case, please don't exchange coins with individuals, because RMB doesn't circulate there.

Credit card: Credit cards are generally not used except in high-end hotels, western-style hotels, international airlines and a few shops. Common credit cards are American Express, MasterCard and Visa. With credit cards, you can withdraw money from ATMs in shops, hotels, banks, post offices and main streets, and with traveler's checks, you can withdraw money from some banks. However, it should be reminded that traveler's checks and credit cards are not common in Ukraine, and many hotels, restaurants and shops only accept cash.
