There are many banks in Nigeria, many of which are privately owned.
UBA, united bank of Africa, has its headquarters on the highest floor of VI Island; UBN, united bank of Nigeria, has its headquarters in Abuja, LOGOS branch and the same building as UBA headquarters; FRIST BANK, its headquarters is in downtown LAGOS; ZENITH BANK, the service and innovation of this bank are relatively good; ECO BANK, the service is average; the GRANTEE TRUST above; HABIB; ACCESS, several friends from this bank have talked to me quite well; and there are a few other banks that I forgot There are probably more than 50 banks in LAGOS. It is estimated that there are no less than 100 banks in Nigeria. The first three of these banks are equivalent to state-owned. In addition, they also have a central bank to control these commercial banks. All foreign exchange must be purchased through the central bank before they can be opened. LC or remittance, I am not sure if there will be any changes now.
I have been in Nigeria for 4 years, and UBA, ZENITH, and FIRST are some of the good banks!
