Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd., formerly known as the German beer company Qingdao Stock Company, was founded in Qingdao on August 1903 by German and British businessmen.

1993 July 15, Tsingtao Brewery was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which is the first overseas listed enterprise in China. On August 27th of the same year, Tsingtao Brewery was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, becoming the first company in China to be listed in both places at the same time.

By the end of 20 15, Tsingtao Brewery had more than 60 beer production enterprises in 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and its company scale and market share were in a leading position in the domestic beer industry.
