(1) When a citizen of China who lives in China and is over the age of 16 opens a personal deposit account in a relevant financial institution or deposits in the original account for the first time, his/her real identity documents include not only the resident identity card or temporary resident identity card, but also the household registration book and passport.
(2) When retired military cadres (armed police) and active servicemen studying in military academies of the People's Liberation Army open personal deposit accounts in relevant financial institutions or deposit in the original accounts for the first time, their true identity documents also include: honorary certificates of retired cadres, retirement certificates for officers, retirement certificates for civilian cadres and student certificates of military academies.
(3) When an overseas Chinese of China nationality living inside and outside China opens a personal deposit account in a relevant financial institution or deposits in the original account for the first time, their real identity documents can be China passports.
(4) When an overseas border resident opens a personal deposit account in a financial institution in China's border areas or deposits in the original account for the first time, his/her real identity document can be not only his/her passport, but also a border resident entry and exit pass issued by the host country.
Two. Measures for the disposal of partial deposit business
(1) The term lump-sum deposit or individual term lump-sum deposit agreed by individuals and deposit-taking financial institutions before April 1 2000 (the principal and interest due will be settled in one lump sum) will be automatically transferred, and the relevant regulations will be implemented before April 1 2000.
(2) Handling USW business, regardless of whether the depositor deposits in different places or locally, shall be handled in accordance with the regulations of real-name registration system.
(3) Foreign exchange cash accounts and foreign exchange cash accounts opened by domestic residents before April 1 2000 shall be handled with legal identity documents when they expire for the first time after April 1 2000; If the original account name does not use the real name, the depositor will show his legal identity certificate and the bank will directly change his account name.
(4) The certificate number of the old household registration book can be registered, and the date of birth of the depositor in the household registration book can be taken.
(five) the payment of wages, pensions and other services, during the transitional period of registration in real-name registration system (three months), the relevant financial institutions shall handle it in accordance with the provisions of 1 before April 2000; The registration of identity documents and numbers can be handled centrally by relevant financial institutions.
Three. Description of other related issues.
(1) Copies of student ID card, motor vehicle driver's license, letter of introduction and legal identity documents cannot be used as real-name documents.
(2) Withdrawing large amounts of personal cash shall be carried out according to the relevant regulations of the People's Bank of China before April/KLOC-0, 2000.
(3) For some college students to open deposit accounts, relevant financial institutions can take the initiative to ask the school to provide convenience.
