The difficulty of defining the English part of the general bank examination varies from bank to bank, and the English level required by different positions in the same bank is also different (generally, the English level required by positions involving foreign exchange and English majors is relatively high), which is related to the main business direction and business post requirements involved by specific banks. The general post requirement is CET-4, CET-6 or TOEIC level, and the purpose of inspection is practical ability. However, if it is a foreign-related post, the general requirement is the corresponding level of TOEFL and IELTS or the level of CET-4 and TEM-8.

Questions generally include reading comprehension, word selection, cloze, English-Chinese translation, error correction, cloze and so on. Each question type may not be tested, but it will change slightly every year.
