Non-resident travelers and resident travelers with re-entry visas of countries or regions are allowed to carry a camera, portable tape recorder, small camera, portable video camera and portable word processor. Articles released by the customs for personal use in travel shall be taken out of the country again on the return trip.
2. Gold, silver and its products
Passengers carrying gold, silver and its products into the country are limited to a reasonable amount for their own use. If the amount exceeds 50 grams, they should fill out a declaration form and declare it to the customs. When re-taken out of the country, the customs will release it according to the quantity declared this time. The gold and silver and its products (including inlaid ornaments, utensils and other new handicrafts) bought abroad or consigned by the customs shall be issued by the "special invoice" issued by the People's Bank of China.
3. Foreign exchange
Passengers carrying foreign currency, traveler's checks, letters of credit, etc. There is no limit to the number of people entering this country. Resident passengers must truthfully declare to the customs when they bring in other foreign currency cash with a value of more than US$ 65,438+US$ 0,000 (US$ 5,000 for non-resident passengers) or its equivalent; When re-transported out of the country, the customs shall check and release the goods according to the quantity declared in this item. Passengers carrying foreign exchange other than the above out of the country shall be examined and released by the customs on the strength of the Foreign Exchange Carrying Certificate issued by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
4. RMB
Passengers carrying RMB into and out of the country are limited to 6000 yuan. Those who exceed 6000 yuan are not allowed to enter or leave the country.
5, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese patent medicine
Passengers carrying Chinese herbal medicines and Chinese patent medicines out of the country are limited to RMB 300 yuan; For those going to Hong Kong and Macao, the total value is limited to RMB 150 yuan. The total value of Chinese herbal medicines and Chinese patent medicines sent abroad is limited to RMB 200 yuan; If it is sent to Hong Kong and Macao, the total value is limited to RMB 100 yuan. When leaving the country, inbound passengers carry a reasonable amount of Chinese herbal medicines for their own use and drugs purchased in foreign exchange, and the customs will release them on the basis of relevant invoices and foreign exchange memo. Musk and Chinese herbal medicines and Chinese patent medicines exceeding the above-mentioned prescribed limits are allowed to leave the country.

Article 1 These Provisions are formulated in order to take care of the reasonable needs of personnel sent by the state to work and study abroad (hereinafter referred to as overseas personnel) and strengthen the management of articles restricted by the state.
Article 2 The luggage and articles carried by overseas personnel shall be limited to a reasonable amount for their own use. Luggage and articles carried by overseas personnel when entering the country are exempt from tax within the range of varieties and quantities specified in the Annex List of Articles Carried by Overseas Personnel (hereinafter referred to as the Limited List). Those who go abroad for work or study every six months (180 days) are allowed to bring 1 in items 4 and 5 of the limited list into the country duty-free, and the longest continuous tax exemption period is four years, among which economic aid workers and contract laborers are not limited by the longest continuous tax exemption period. Temporary overseas personnel who have been away from home for less than six months (180 days) are allowed to enter the country for the first time every Gregorian calendar year and carry one of the items in Items 4 and 5 of the limited list.
Article 3 The term "long-term overseas personnel" as mentioned in these Provisions refers to those who have been working and studying abroad continuously for more than one year on business. "Economic aid personnel" refers to those who have gone abroad for a long time to implement intergovernmental foreign economic and technical assistance agreements. "Foreign contracted labor service personnel" refers to all kinds of engineering, technical, managerial personnel and workers who are sent by companies approved by the State Council or the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and have the right to engage in foreign contracted labor services, so as to carry out labor services or contracted projects signed with foreign investors. "Temporary overseas personnel" refers to all kinds of personnel who are temporarily sent abroad to work and study for less than one year.
Article 4 The Registration Certificate for Imported Duty-free Articles (hereinafter referred to as "Registration Certificate") shall be issued by the Customs for those who have gone abroad for a long time. When people who have been abroad for a long time (including those who are exempt from inspection) enter the country, they will fill in their articles on the registration certificate for customs inspection and release. The customs shall strictly control the scope of issuance of registration certificates.
