Incorrect amount of overseas remittance
Hello, landlord!

I choose to bear the handling fee for overseas remittance. Here's the thing. Domestic banks charge part of the handling fee in RMB, which is deducted when the funds go to foreign banks. If the remittance is in US dollars, part of the US dollar fee will be charged, and if the remittance is in euros, part of the Euro fee will be charged. Different banks charge different amounts.

These two expenses are your personal funds, so the bank deducted the handling fee from your 270 euro fund, which is essentially that the handling fee is borne by you. 258 euros is the amount received by the other party. The other party did not pay any handling fee.

Unfortunately, we didn't know this situation before the remittance. Remit more foreign currency when you can only send money abroad next time.

Now there are two ways:

One is to remit 12 euro again, but at least 24 euros should be remitted when remittance is made, because foreign banks still charge 12 dollars, which is calculated according to the number of transactions. At the same time, domestic banks also have to charge fees.

The other is to explain the situation to the payee to see if there is any accommodation or any solution under negotiation. But I personally don't think this method will work. You can try it first.

Wish you all the best!
