Li Xinglin is the only postdoctoral fellow in China bearing industry at present, and one of the few postdoctoral fellows who have worked hard in the front line of enterprises. He didn't get into the pile of books, but practiced while learning. For more than 20 years, he has always stood in the front line of rolling bearing technology promotion.
1990 as the sole representative of bearing industry in China, Li Xinglin attended the international tribology conference held in Japan. During this trip to Japan, he not only exchanged experiences with his foreign counterparts, but also got the guidance of Junzo Okamoto, a professor at Chiba University in Japan. After returning home, he immediately determined his own research direction-the life performance test of rolling bearings. After numerous tests and improvements, he and his colleagues successfully developed the rolling bearing life strengthening test system (A2 BLT+F2AST), which is a new life testing machine technology and method designed and developed by our country with completely independent intellectual property rights. It is the first in China, and nearly 100 sets of projects have been produced and sold, with an output value of more than 6,543,802 yuan, saving the country more than 30 million US dollars in foreign exchange.
Moreover, during his tenure as director, Li Xinglin led the members of the National Testing Laboratory of the Institute, and took the lead in passing the ISO/IEC 17205 approval in the national bearing industry, making the test results internationally recognized, successfully providing international bearing testing services for internationally renowned companies at home and abroad such as the United States, Japan and Germany, and taking a key step for the testing technology of China's bearing industry to go global. During his trip to Europe in June+10 this year, he visited German INA/FAG Bearing Company and KLUBER Oil Company and their testing centers successively, which laid a solid foundation for further international cooperation in the future.
Existing achievements have become the past. He said that he and his colleagues will continue to explore and take greater and higher steps in the research and development of bearing detection technology, and strive to be based in East China, face the whole country, connect with the international community and serve the world.
