This is Qiushan jade, and the law of separation depends on the animal patterns carved on it. If there is a deer, it must be Qiu Shanyu:
"Spring jade" refers to the jade with the pattern of stork (Haidongqing) catching goose (swan). "Autumn Mountain Jade" refers to the jade with the theme of tiger and deer in the mountain forest. The former is consistent with the hunting activities recorded by Liao Emperor in Liao History, while the latter is consistent with the activities of Qiu Bona recorded in Liao History. It is recorded in the Golden History that clothes with storks catching swans are called "spring water ornaments" and clothes with tiger deer and mountain forest patterns are called "autumn mountain ornaments", so this kind of jade is named "jade of spring water" and "jade of autumn mountain". The works of this kind of content are full of simple wild interest in the mountains and strong northland sentiment, and are jade works with the characteristics of grassland nomads. Although the content is basically the same, the specific form of each work is never repeated, which has reached the artistic realm of being scattered and far away, fully embodying the rich life experience and excellent observation of jade craftsmen. Its representatives are the sapphire hollow stork catching swan and the sapphire tiger deer eagle magpie double-sided carving now in the Palace Museum in Beijing.
