The remitter himself carries his ID card, card/passbook, and then goes to the bank counter to complete the "Application for Overseas Remittance" and go through the relevant formalities. Cross-border remittance business can be entrusted to others, but the identity documents, card/passbook and original power of attorney of both the remitter and the agent are required, and the power of attorney is kept by BOC with the summons; Cross-border remittance by minors must be handled by guardians.
