Chapter 1: Big talk finance: Is China's economy a Ponzi scheme?
The first part of this book will cover two essential characteristics of contemporary economy: one is to meet people's spiritual needs, and the other is vanity. Secondly, it discusses what is the logic of a country's prosperity in such an economy and what strategy a country can adopt to become a contemporary developed country.
The first chapter, which is about to begin, is about one of the core parts of modern spirit and void economy: finance. I don't intend to talk about financial knowledge completely here, but mainly about the empty side of finance (please look back at the first section of chapter 6 of this book for the "real" side of finance). You only need to grasp three points: first, understand the meaning of foreign exchange; Second, know what a Ponzi scheme is; Third, deeply understand the void of finance. This chapter begins with three stories that need to be explained. I really want to talk about foreign exchange itself, but the last two stories are actually not about the stock market and banks. These two stories will inspire later articles and uncover the truth of American economy. After reading the sixth chapter, you will know that the stock market story implies Ponzi scheme of American economy, and the bank story implies American international "goods bank".
