The American subprime mortgage crisis, which originated in the second half of 2006, suddenly formed a storm that swept the global financial market after August 2007. This storm has brought a great impact on China's foreign trade clothing. In this paper, the garment export industry in China under the financial crisis is deeply studied, and it is expounded from three aspects: the present situation of garment export in China, the forecast of garment export prospect in China and the measures to deal with the crisis. For the crisis that may be faced in the future, this paper makes predictions from both the international market and the domestic market, and puts forward these predictions, such as strengthening dialogue and communication between the commercial sector and relevant countries to ensure a smooth transition; Commercial departments at all levels guide the transformation and upgrading of enterprises; Enterprises themselves enhance their ability to resist foreign exchange risks; Pay attention to brand building, strengthen the training of designers, and improve the quality and style of clothing.
