What does a customs broker do?
Generally speaking, the job of a customs broker is to handle customs affairs such as customs declaration and tax payment on behalf of enterprises.

The main job of a customs declarant is to judge what procedures a certain kind of goods need to go through according to national laws, regulations and customs procedures, prepare relevant documents, declare to the customs as required, and at the same time, cooperate with the customs inspection and pay relevant taxes and fees.

In some enterprises, in addition to customs declaration, customs declarers also go through the formalities of commodity inspection and quarantine at the Commodity Inspection Bureau, foreign exchange verification at the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, and corresponding examination and approval procedures at the foreign trade and economic cooperation departments.
