Gauss GANSS has been mentioned by other friends before. Players who may have a fever on the mechanical keyboard are familiar with it, but ordinary netizens may not understand it. This is also my first contact with the brand Gauss. After I got it, I left the impression of GS87D in a few days.
I have used a wired mechanical keyboard with two or three 108 keys before. Maybe my desk is small, so it's inconvenient to pull it out with a notebook every time, so I want to change it to an 87-key Bluetooth keyboard. Therefore, Gauss GANSS GS87D Indigo Scrub Plate and Cherry Tea Shaft were selected.
There are two things that attract me about this keyboard: on the one hand, the color matching and layout of the keyboard are a bit retro, a bit like the bully game machine I played when I was a child. On the other hand, it uses cherry tea shafts, not to say that the shafts of other manufacturers are not good, but it is a little sentimental about cherry shafts.
I don't have a cherry axis keyboard in my hand, so I'm embarrassed to say that I have played a mechanical keyboard. GS87D has four colors: black inkstone, white indigo stone, black-and-white light and white-and-white light. There are five key axes to choose from in all color schemes except white indigo, which has no silver axis. There are quite a few choices. I usually have a lot of codewords, so I chose a tea shaft that gives consideration to typing. I feel that the red axis is more suitable for girls.
The material of Gauss GANSS feels quite good. The keycap is made of PBT, which is thick and neat. It looks very textured and feels good. This keyboard comes standard with a line cap slider, which is not bad. Before, I got a keyboard with the same price, and it was equipped with a plastic zipper cover, which was easy to scratch when pulling the keycap.
GS87D is a dual-mode keyboard, which supports wired and Bluetooth working modes. USB cable can be separated. The keyboard uses TYPE-C as the wired connection interface, and the Bluetooth switch is next to the TYPE-C interface. This keyboard is still powered by two No.7 dry batteries, which are non-rechargeable, and comes standard with two No.7 batteries.
Keyboard Bluetooth mode supports device connection of Windows, Android, iOS and Mac. GS87D can connect five devices at the same time, and switch through the combination keys of Fn+Q, Fn+W, Fn+E, Fn+R and FN+T. ..
In addition, Fn+F 1~Fn+F 12 also has some shortcut functions. This keyboard also supports macro recording. Please refer to the instruction manual for specific operation steps.
From the side, the base of the keyboard itself is still relatively thick, and it also has an ergonomic tilt angle. This is also the advantage of mechanical keyboard compared with membrane keyboard. At present, most of the film keyboards on the market are made thin, and the wrist of the code word will feel sore after being pressed for a long time.
The elevation angle of the mechanical keyboard and the adjustment of the bracket can be adjusted to a more natural codeword posture for most players, and the codeword wrist will not be sore even for a long time. Many consumers have a wrong view that mechanical keyboards are used by gamers. In fact, clerks and code farmers should be the largest user groups of mechanical keyboards.
There are anti-slip rubber pads at the four corners of the keyboard, which is more stable. GS87D also supports wired mode. Is cable still necessary in this era? Well, it depends on the demand. Personally, I hope that the fewer lines on the desktop, the better. I'm not very good at using wired mode. However, some gamers may still be keen on cable TV, especially competitive gamers, who are worried that Bluetooth delay will affect their records.
The back panel of the keyboard is also provided with a routing groove, which can be routed left or right or in the middle, so that players can try their best to make the lines neat and make the desktop more beautiful. For non-gamers, I think Bluetooth is good. Very smooth, there will be no feeling of delay. There is no phenomenon that it takes two seconds to type a word before it pops up.
Finally, talk about the experience of Gauss GANSS GS87D. It may be the first time to use the Bluetooth mechanical keyboard, and I am satisfied with the experience of using the GS87D. The color matching of the keycap is not strange, but it also attracts me. I liked it from the moment I opened the box, especially the texture of the keycap was good.
It is also very convenient to use, compatible with many systems, and can also connect multiple devices at the same time and switch before different designs. Of course, I don't have that many devices to connect at the same time. I tried the notebook and the Android tablet, and the connection and switching were fine. GS87D series adopts cherry shaft, and the shaft body is relatively complete.
The tea shaft I chose is still in line with my expectation, and it has reached my expected feel without too much strength, and the click sound will not be too loud. For beginners, the tea shaft is still relatively safe.
Summary:
I have played several wired mechanical keyboards before, including cherry axis and domestic axis. On the whole, Gauss GANSS GS87D is more to my liking, and the workmanship and texture of this keyboard exceed my expectations for this price. Unfortunately, there is no backlight, only pure white and pure black have backlight, so we have to make a choice.
Overall, the performance-to-price ratio of GS87D is quite high, which is quite suitable for beginners. And this keyboard also has 104 keys to choose from. If you use more number keys, you can select the 104 key.
