The origin of the word "government"?
Now the word "Fu" comes from Zi Jian written by Sima Guang, and Li is called "Fu" in Fu Tang, indicating that Fu originated in Tang Dynasty, but it was formally formed in Song Dynasty. The government office refers to the institutions and places where the prime minister handled government affairs in the Tang and Song Dynasties. In ancient times, it was a hierarchical autocratic mechanism, and the names of government agencies at all levels were different. The supreme government, also known as the imperial court, was the institution and place where the emperor handled political affairs, both before and after the Qin Dynasty. Other government agencies before and after the Qin Dynasty and their positions were different. The pre-Qin period was a system in which the emperor sealed the country. The government agencies below the imperial court belong to the central institutions directly under the jurisdiction of the emperor, followed by provinces, ministries and departments. Provinces and ministries have the same power, and there are ministries under them. Fengguo is the highest local administrative division (China was a unified system in ancient times, but now there is no concept of sovereign "country" and no government, and all countries are local administrative divisions), and the government agencies of Fengguo must also be set up according to the hierarchical etiquette formulated by the emperor, otherwise it is illegal and criminal. The institutions and places that seal the country to handle political affairs are equivalent to the central "provincial department" level, also called "room" or "palace", and then there is a "division" level government (the same level as the central department), which is the minister of state (the subordinate of the monarch) to handle government affairs, also called "home". This is how the word "country" came into being. During the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, the emperor existed in name only, the vassal state was divided, and the level of government institutions was gradually disrupted. After the Qin Dynasty, the central government was still called the imperial court, followed by provincial departments, judicial departments and yamen (following the old system). Later, the county was changed to a state, and the court was called the imperial court (such as yamen ~ government, Privy Council), state government, yamen (county government) and so on. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, due to Confucianism, the development of Taitung was stagnant, and we did not modernize in time. The East was completely overtaken by the West, and the political and cultural system of Taitung was destroyed. Since modern times, western history and politics have been introduced into China. We use "state" to translate the western sovereign regime and "government" to translate the administrative organization.
