How to open a bank foreign exchange sub-account
Take China Merchants Bank Card as an example. After the funds in the corresponding currency are deposited, the system will generate a "sub-account" with the corresponding currency and deposit (if no funds are deposited, there will be no corresponding sub-account). For example, if USD cash is deposited, a current sub-account of USD cash will be generated in the card. Note: A card can only have one current settlement sub-account in the same currency, but multiple fixed sub-accounts can be opened.

At present, the currencies supported by China Merchants Bank are: US dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Euro, British pound, Australian dollar, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, Swiss franc, Singapore dollar and New Zealand dollar. Note: Due to the different reserve situation of each branch, it is recommended that you confirm with the branch in advance and make an appointment to access foreign currency cash and small bills.
