Which bank's credit card is better for traveling abroad?
Which bank's credit card should I choose to go abroad? There is no absolute answer. Tell me about my experience of taking my card to various countries over the years ~

First of all, at different times, each bank has its own preferential activities. Before going out, you can pay attention to which activities are stronger, and you can give priority to swiping that card, and often the cashback activities are all online. If it is really bought by buy buy, if the activities of one bank are online, you can continue to swipe the card of another bank, haha, make full use of the activities of each bank ~

Knock on the blackboard! The key is that you must have credit cards from multiple banks in advance, because it takes about a month to apply for a credit card, and it is impossible to suddenly think of it before going out. As for credit cards, except those with platinum card level or above, you need to pay an annual fee. In fact, as long as you swipe your card several times a year, you can avoid the annual fee. Now there are opportunities to swipe your card everywhere, which is easy to realize, so it is very convenient and beneficial to have cards from different banks at the same time ~

Here are some of my bank cards:

1, # China CITIC Bank #

It's the kind that I have used for the longest time (7 or 8 years) and the highest credit card rate ~ in recent years, it can almost reach more than 200 thousand a year, of which more than 80% is the cost of traveling abroad, so the credit card has reached a fixed limit of 6.5438+0.2 million. When there is really a lot of expenses, this card can basically meet (bags and watches, of course, it can't be hundreds of thousands of watches, ha), so it is cultivated.

I like to use his credit card, mainly because the quality of CITIC activities in the past few years is really high and the integral value is also great. I remember that at that time, Starbucks cups had 9 points per month, and there was a chance to redeem 9 points by swiping the card. I went out to play once, and Starbucks spent dozens of minutes drinking several times a month ~ there are still 9 points of activities, but Starbucks has limited rights all day and needs to grab it every morning, but overall CITIC's activities are quite good.

In addition, we can see that although it is a bank, the activities are organized by different credit cards, such as UnionPay, visa and MasterCard ... So even if a card has at most two channels, UnionPay, VISA or Master will often have better activities at different times, so I suggest that you can set up two different cards in a bank, and they use a quota, that is, if it is1.20,000.

Finally, I want to talk more about my experience in using dual-currency and full-currency cards. One of my dual-currency cards is UnionPay and MasterCard, as shown in the figure. As a result of swiping your card in Japan, you can see that it is directly converted into RMB for settlement through UnionPay channel, and there is no handling fee, but you can see that there is a handling fee for settlement through Master channel, so if Master has no good cashback activities, try not to use it. It will be more cost-effective to brush UnionPay.

My other Zhang Zhongxin card is a full currency card of visa. It can be seen that it is directly converted into RMB, and there is no process of converting into US dollars. It is also a good choice to swipe the card.

2.# Bank of China #

I mentioned the first credit card of China Bank because of the credit card channel of JCB. JCB is a card organization name similar to UnionPay, which belongs to Japan, so I had a JCB card before I went to Japan, and I don't use it much now. There are many activities to brush UnionPay in Japan (because after all, Chinese people are encouraged to spend, hehe), but it is worth mentioning! If you have a JCB card, such as Tokyo Tower! Nagoya Tower! You can get tickets to the tower for free! ! ! Haha, maybe symbol towers in other cities can also be used. The above two are my own experiences, which are worth doing, hahaha.

In addition, there is an all-currency "chip card". I mentioned the advantages of the all-currency. Mainly talk about the problem of chip card. In fact, many banks are now popular with chip cards, but few banks can do it in the past few years, so I did it when BOC launched it, because when I went to Europe, some places and machines in Europe only accepted chip cards! ! ! The magnetic stripe card can't be used, which has brought me a lot of inconvenience to go to Europe, so I decided to handle it immediately when the chip card was pushed by the Bank of China. Focus! Knock on the blackboard! ! ! If you go to Europe, especially if you want to travel by yourself, you must prepare a chip card (many banks have it, not necessarily China Bank)! ! !

3.# Bank of Communications #

I got his credit card because I have an international card with all currencies, and I heard that the handling fee is free, and so on. The most important thing is that I got a credit card processing fee of $65,438+000 when I opened the card, but when I used the credit card percentage, it was almost 65,438+00% cash back. Because of this activity, I impulsively opened his credit card ~ I don't want to say more about my current experience ~

The above is my card experience. Let's summarize.

# Prepare cards from different banks and credit card channels, pay attention to activities before going out, sign up with cards, and decide the priority of swiping cards.

# Pay attention to cultivating a bank's credit card limit, which can be supported when there are large expenses.

#JCB Japan has a free ticket to climb the tower ~ You need to prepare a chip card for free travel in Europe ~

# Pay attention to the credit card channels of all-currency and dual-currency cards, especially the handling fee for large expenditures.
