First of all, you must understand the situation of exiting from China. Outbound passengers cannot carry more than RMB 20,000 in RMB cash out of the country. For foreign currency cash, outbound passengers may carry foreign currency cash with an amount not exceeding the equivalent of US$5,000.
If the amount you bring out is between the equivalent of 5,000 U.S. dollars and 10,000 U.S. dollars (including 10,000 U.S. dollars), you need to go through the declaration procedures in advance and apply for the "Carrying Foreign Exchange" from the deposit bank or foreign exchange purchasing bank. Exit Permit" (hereinafter referred to as "Porting Permit"), and stamped with the bank's special seal for carrying foreign exchange out of the country.
In addition, we would like to remind everyone that for those who use multiple "Permits of Carrying", if the cumulative total of the "Permits of Carrying" stamped with bank seals exceeds the equivalent value of US$10,000, the customs will not release it.
