Remittance from China to Malaysia
1) You can go to the bank and ask for a wire transfer (TT). I always wire to Malaysia by CCB. 1W wire transfer fee is about 100 yuan. If you go through the formalities in the morning, you can receive the remittance within 2 working days. You can also use Western Union. The advantage of Western Union is that you can receive the remittance immediately, but the payee must provide proof documents at the bank to withdraw money. Agricultural Bank of China and postal service provide Western Union remittance.

2) Western Union is cheaper.

3) Due to Malaysia's foreign exchange policy, any remittance to Malaysia must be converted into US dollars first. Of course, you can take RMB to the bank, and the bank will help you change it into dollars. Remittances to Malaysia will be converted into Malaysian ringgit again.

Note: UnionPay cards are accepted at ATMs of major Malaysian banks such as Bank of Malaya, China Public Bank, Industrial Bank and Hong Leong Bank. You can still use your China UnionPay card to withdraw money from Malaysian ATMs.
