The meaning of foreign exchange quotation
Foreign exchange quotation is the exchange rate of two currencies, or a ratio. For example, USD/JPY120.78/121.08 refers to the exchange rate at which USD is converted into JPY or JPY is converted into USD. Since the bank's quotation refers to the real-time exchange rate of the international financial market plus a certain bid-ask spread, the exchange rate changes with the change of the international market.
