Bank of China UnionPay multi-currency debit card supports overseas ATM/POS transactions of original currency deduction and debit account rotation. You can set parameters for the range of currencies participating in the circular debit, which currently includes USD, MOP, GBP, EUR, JPY, HKD, Canadian Dollar, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar and Singapore Dollar. The specific rule is: 1. If the original transaction currency is within the bookkeeping currency range of multi-currency debit cards, the transaction currency account is selected first, and the remittance account takes precedence. If the cardholder has no cash account in the transaction currency or the balance of the cash account is insufficient, the cash account in the same currency will be rotated in full. If the cardholder does not have a transaction currency account (including cash and cash accounts) or the transaction currency account is insufficient, the RMB account will be fully rotated. If the original transaction currency is the clearing currency of the card organization (at present, the clearing currencies of the bank and UnionPay include USD and MOP), the RMB transaction amount converted according to the latest foreign exchange selling quotation published by the banking system on the trading day will be deducted; If the original transaction currency is not the clearing currency of the card organization, the RMB transaction amount converted and sent by the card organization will be directly deducted. If the cardholder has no RMB account or has insufficient RMB account, the transaction fails. 2. If the original transaction currency is not within the bookkeeping currency range of UnionPay multi-currency debit card, the first deduction account is RMB account, and the RMB transaction amount converted and sent by the card organization is directly deducted from the RMB account. If the cardholder has no RMB account or has insufficient RMB account, the transaction fails.
