1, * * * Similarity: Same wine quality, same bottle type.
The liquor quality of Wuxing Maotai and Tian Fei Maotai is the same, and the bottles are ivory pottery glass bottles.
2. Difference: Different trademarks, different packaging designs, different prices and different market sentiment.
According to the person in charge of Kweichow Moutai Distillery Group, there is no difference in the quality of Maotai liquor with the "five-star" trademark and the "Tian Fei" trademark. In the packaging workshop, the same batch of wine is often blended uniformly, and then packaged with "Five Stars" in the morning and "Tian Fei" in the afternoon, or at the same time, this team is packaged with "Five Stars" and the next team is packaged with "Tian Fei", so the two brands of Moutai are only packaged differently.
It is understood that the reason why Maotai, the national wine, has two trademarks of "five stars" and "flying" was formed under a specific historical background. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, after the establishment of the local state-owned Maotai Distillery, the original registered trademark was "Kweichow Moutai", with the pattern of workers and peasants joining hands in the middle of the upper end of the trademark and wavy lines around it, with five red characters of "Kweichow Moutai" and ten white characters of "Produced by the local state-owned Maotai Distillery" below. 1In March, 956, the word "Tai" was restored. 1953, Moutai began to be sold abroad, and the trademark pattern was changed to consist of golden wheat ears and red five stars. The ears of wheat are outside, and the five stars are in the middle. The registered trademark is "Wheel" brand, which is the predecessor of today's "five-star" trademark, implying that Moutai is the crystallization of the new China workers and peasants alliance. However, under the historical conditions at that time, this trademark pattern was regarded as a "political trademark" by some foreign anti-China forces, so it was subjected to some undue discrimination.
In order to facilitate export, with the approval of the former Ministry of Light Industry, the export trademark of Moutai was changed to "Tian Fei" brand on 1958. The design draws lessons from the image of "Tian Fei" in Dunhuang, which has great influence in western society, and holds a golden cup for two flying fairies, implying that Moutai is the messenger of diplomatic friendship and has been used ever since. It is reported that the reason why Maotai liquor currently on the market has two trademarks of "five-star" and "flying" at the same time is that besides considering consumers' habits and psychology, the image of "flying" originally borrowed by Maotai Distillery still needs to pay a certain fee, but the "five-star" trademark does not have this problem.
