With the rapid development of international trade and the two-way flow of international capital, the foreign exchange business of multinational companies has grown rapidly, and more and more companies are frequently faced with foreign exchange risks. Moreover, the frequent and violent exchange rate fluctuations in the current international financial market make foreign exchange trading risks a major problem faced by multinational companies. Multinational companies began to pay attention to the management of foreign exchange transaction risk, reduce transaction risk and increase business value. This paper introduces and analyzes three main types of foreign exchange transaction risk: transaction risk, exchange risk, economic risk and the causes of foreign exchange risk. Combining with the specific case study and management methods of foreign exchange transaction risk of multinational corporations, this paper studies the methods of foreign exchange management of multinational corporations to increase their understanding of foreign exchange risk.
