Matters needing attention in embassy certification

1, pay attention to the correct seal.

All kinds of commercial documents that need authentication should be stamped with the seals of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureaus at all levels or the local Council for the Promotion of International Trade, or the corresponding judicial books or certificates should be handled.

2. Pay attention to the time required for embassy certification.

Different countries have different regulations on the time of embassy certification. The Argentine embassy stipulates that the time for embassy certification is 20 days, and Saudi Arabia is 25 days. At the same time, due to the frequent closure of embassies in China and national holidays, enterprises should pay attention to the time limit stipulated by embassies when applying for embassy certification, and handle it as soon as possible, so as to smoothly clear customs and settle foreign exchange.

Please note that some countries require authentication of certain trade documents at the same time.

The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iran, Jordan, Syria and other countries require that invoices must be certified together with the certificate of origin. In addition, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and other countries also require that meat products exported to the country must be certified with four kinds of documents: invoice, certificate of origin, inspection and quarantine certificate and slaughter certificate. The UAE also requires that the inspection and quarantine certificate should indicate that broilers are virus-free, harmless and flu-free. Kuwait also requires that invoices must be authenticated together with the certificate of origin and the white certificate of origin (the white certificate of origin is an Arabic certificate of origin).

Please note that some countries require additional documents or documents.

When Argentina requires the certificate of origin certification of goods re-exported to Argentina from other countries or regions, it is necessary to certify two invoices at the same time. Libya requires the original invoice to be attached to the certificate of origin separately, charging a handling fee of 8.3 ‰ of the invoice amount, and requires four copies of the invoice and the certificate of origin.

5. Pay attention to the cost of embassy certification.

Almost all countries charge a certain amount of embassy certification fees, some of which are still very high. Therefore, enterprises should consider certification fees when conducting export trade with these countries, especially for trade with small transaction amount. At the same time, it should be noted that some countries charge by batch, and some countries charge by a certain proportion of the invoice amount.

6, pay attention to the provisions of the embassy certification on language.

If you apply for embassy certification in Libya and Kuwait, you must attach relevant documents in Arabic. Applications from embassies in Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay and Bolivia must be accompanied by Spanish translations.
