Guangxi does seem to be relatively backward. But it doesn't mean that Guangxi people are poor. In fact, the real economic level of Guangxi people is not fully reflected by gdp. People in Guangxi are not necessarily poor. On the contrary, the Guangxi people you meet may be rich, such as the following:
1. In areas supported by poverty alleviation funds, Guizhou and Yunnan have developed rapidly in recent years. Mainly the state supports poverty alleviation, and Guangxi also has poverty alleviation funds, but the amount is not that large, but as long as it is supported, the economic development will definitely be rapid in the future.
2. Qinzhou Beihai Fangchenggang and other coastal areas: At present, the per capita gdp of Beihai and Fangchenggang has reached more than 7,000 yuan, which has surpassed some cities in the east. Therefore, Guangxi Beibu Gulf coast is not poor at all.
3. As an industrial city like Liuzhou, Liuzhou is the largest industrial city in Guangxi, even one of the few industrial cities in southwest China, and its industrial output value exceeds a quarter of that in Guangxi. Per capita GDP is also much higher than that of Nanning, the provincial capital. If Nanning is like a metropolis with several tall buildings in the countryside, Liuzhou can be said to be a city in essence, with no rural appearance at all.
4. Tourist cities such as Guilin. Tourism is a profiteering industry. It seems that the gdp generated is not high, but it must bring a lot of money. Tourism is often tied to real estate, and the house price around the scenic spot must be more than 10 times of the general house price. Such a profiteering industry, although the GDP figure is not high, has made the local people rich. Liuzhou, located in the northeast of central Guangxi, is an important railway hub connecting Central South, East China and South China in southwest China. Liuzhou, known as the "commercial port in central Guangxi", is a two-way product processing and trade base and logistics transit base city with ASEAN, a hub city of the Southwest Grand Passage, an important node of the "Belt and Road" organic connection portal, and a leading and core city of the Xijiang Economic Belt in the western development strategy. It is the largest industrial base in Guangxi, facing the east, south coast and south coast. Liuzhou is a national historical and cultural city, the birthplace of Liujiang people, one of the earliest ancient humans in China, with a history of more than 265,438+000 years, and an ancient land spanning hundreds of years. After Qin Shihuang unified Lingnan, it belonged to Guilin County. Liuzhou belonged to South Vietnam in the late Qin Dynasty and early Han Dynasty. In the sixth year of the Western Han Dynasty, Ding Yuan established Yulin County and Tanzhong County, which was the beginning of the establishment of Liuzhou.
