How to remit money at home when studying in Japan?
To study in Japan, domestic remittance is an essential step, right? Does it seem cumbersome? Take it easy. You go to Japan to study, and I'll teach you how to send money at home.

First of all, the materials needed

To handle wire transfer, you need to fill in the Application Form for Overseas Remittance, and you need the following information:

1. Remittance currency and amount;

2. The name and address of the payee;

3. The payee's account number in the bank where the account is opened;

4. Name, SWIFT code and address of the payee's bank.

Second, how to obtain SWIFTCODE

Confirm your issuing bank: For example, if you open a card with UFJ Bank in Mitsubishi Tokyo, you should also remember which branch it is. If you forget, you can open the first page of the passbook and see which branch it is. This branch is your issuing bank.

Go to the issuing bank and ask the staff that you want to accept international remittance, and ask them to tell "スィフトコード" (swift code), and they will give you a piece of paper with the bank information with SWIFT code on it.

Third, the steps of remittance

Take SWIFTCODE to the bank. Fill in the application form of overseas money order in English, and the bank staff will guide you how to fill it out.

Arrival time: three days to one week.

About the handling fee: the handling fee of domestic banks is about 200-400 RMB. The handling fee of the Japanese bank is: 1500-4000 yen.

Remittance currency: you need to buy Japanese yen directly in RMB at the bank and remit it directly. Don't buy yen in advance, remit money in yen.
