These are the daily quantities, in which BOD5 should be the smallest, COD should be the largest and SS should be the largest.

Reason: BOD5 is the part of organic matter directly utilized by microorganisms in the measurement system. According to the most unfavorable design principle, COD and SS are large because of the large load, that is, the sewage treatment system should be able to bear the maximum load.
