If the cardholder is a resident of Hong Kong or Macao and has previously remitted the unused RMB balance from Hong Kong or Macao (the unused RMB balance refers to the accumulated amount remitted directly from Hong Kong or Macao and its interest, the difference after deducting the accumulated expenses), he can try to remit it to Hong Kong or Macao at the counter of China Merchants Bank, and it must be verified by the mainland bank according to the deposit account records. If the remitter meets the above conditions (the remitter and the payee must be the same person), please provide a valid identity certificate of Hong Kong or Macao and a certificate of bank deposit in the Mainland (if entrusting others, a copy of the valid identity certificate of the client's Hong Kong or Macao residents, a power of attorney, an agent's identity certificate and a certificate of bank deposit in the Mainland are also required). Whether it can be handled or not, please refer to the counter audit results;
3. If the cardholder is a resident of Taiwan Province Province, the receiving bank can only return the unused RMB remitted by Taiwan Province Province at the counter, and can only return it to the original remitter. Unused RMB: refers to the accumulated money remitted directly from Taiwan Province Province and its interest in the account after deducting the accumulated expenses. (Note: At present, except for the original remitted part and fixed current interest, other used funds cannot be returned. )
